We’ve been working in association with Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE since 2006 in developing many kinds of comedy productions for tv,
radio and online. Animation for Red Cross is based on strong story and characters and is relationship driven. Age group is children under 13 years. Aikamatka (magical journey, memory lane or path of memorable moments) is a tool for professionals working with children to help them in remembering, reflecting and mapping the key moments and elements of a child’s past. Taikamatka can be used to create an illustrative and child-centered portrayal of the life’s path that forms the essential history of subject. The tool is designed for the use of Pelastakaa Lapset ry (Save the Children Association) in their elemental therapy work. Taikamatka pilot version has been developed by Grafaello and Happy Wise together with the Pelastakaa Lapset ry professionals. The aim of the pilot is to showcase the potential of a narrative digital media tool in child therapy work and to validate Taikamatka as a proof-of-concept for future development.
